Degrees and Certificates
Whether you’re interested in equine studies, nursing, accounting, or another field entirely, you can pursue your interests at the College of Central Florida. For information about the different types of degrees and programs offered at CF, select from the options below.
Associate in Arts Degrees
An Associate in Arts is a two-year degree for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution or entering a bachelor’s program at CF.
As an A.A. student, you will complete general education requirements including courses in English, humanities, social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences. By starting with an A.A. degree at the College of Central Florida, students can save thousands of dollars on tuition and fees. CF also has university partnerships with University of Central Florida, Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and University of South Florida through programs that give you even more perks while earning your A.A. degree here.

Associate in Science Degrees
Associate in Science degrees are designed to prepare students for entry into the workforce in many fast-growing career fields such as health care, agribusiness, information technology, and more.
Upon completing an A.S. degree, students also have the option to continue their education with a coordinating bachelor’s degree. CF students can focus entirely on the Associate in Science degree or reach education milestones faster by getting College Credit Certificates on the way to the associate degree.

Bachelor’s Degrees
A bachelor’s degree can open doors to more employment opportunities and higher compensation for graduates. The College of Central Florida offers several bachelor’s degrees ranging across different areas of study. Courses are held either online or at our campus locations.
There are additional admissions requirements for CF’s baccalaureate programs, such as successful completion of an associate degree. Some bachelor’s degrees may be limited access.
Online Degrees
CF offers fully online and hybrid courses so that you can obtain a degree without ever having to set foot inside a classroom.
Certificates and Diplomas
- College Credit Certificates
College Credit Certificates provide enhanced skills in specialty areas, preparing students for entry-level employment and provide supplemental training for currently employed professionals. These certificates will satisfy many requirements for our various Associate in Science degrees.
- Career and Technical Certificates
The Career and Technical Certificate is perfect for students wishing to learn the principles and skills necessary to enter into a vocation directly. A new student seeking an occupational/vocational certificate must complete the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) or the Computerized Placement Test (CPT). Only vocational programs with 30 credits or more may be approved for financial aid.
- Applied Technology Diploma
CF offers one Applied Technology Diploma in Dental Assisting. An A.T.D. is designed to provide skills needed for employment in a specific occupation.
- Advanced Technical Certificates
Advanced Technical Certificates are for students who have previously completed an associate degree. They provide advanced, specialized instruction in specific career and technical fields.
Noncredit Courses
If you’re interested in advancing your career or knowledge without pursuing a degree, we offer many noncredit courses ranging from teacher education to music to customer service.
