Join us at the Ocala Campus in Building 8, Room 110 to hear from legendary author Eileen Myles for a poetry reading, book giveaway and signing, followed by a free copy of their latest work for the first 35 attendees!
About the Author
Eileen Myles is a pioneer in literature-proudly authoring more than twenty books, including For Now, Evolution, Afterglow (a dog memoir), Chelsea Girls, and I Must Be Living Twice: New & Selected Poems 1974-2014. Myles’s many honors include four Lambda Literary Awards, the Clark Prize for Excellence in Arts Writing, the Shelley Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America, Creative Capital’s Literature Award as well as their Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant, and a Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant. They were also rewarded the Lambda Pioneer Award for contributions to the LGBT literary community. Myles lives in Marfa, Texas, and New York City.
