Shop Talk: UF Health Cancer Center’s Mobile Screening Connector

Please join us Wednesday, April 9, from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. for a Shop Talk discussing UF Health Cancer Center Mobile Cancer Screening Connector featuring Dr. Lakeshia Cousin. The event will be held at the Ewers Century Center, College of Central Florida (3001 S.W. College Road, Ocala). Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the program and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. Seats are limited and reservations are required. Please RSVP by Thursday, April 3.
About the speaker: Dr. Lakeshia Cousin is a nurse practitioner, Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Florida, and Assistant Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at the UF Health Cancer Center. She leads efforts to expand access to cancer screenings and care, particularly for underserved and rural populations. As the Clinical Director of the UF Health Cancer Center Mobile Cancer Screening Connector, she helps bring life-saving cancer prevention and early detection services directly to communities in need.
