Do the right thing – Spike Lee movie discussion

Students will watch the movie on their own. Film Scholar Janna Jones will give a short talk and lead a discussion on the groundbreaking film. Jones is a professor of Creative Media and Film in the School of Communication at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. A twentieth-century historian, Jones’ scholarship focuses on the history of cinema-going, historic movie theaters, amateur filmmaking, public exhibition, architectural preservation urban and suburban history, and public art.
Prizes include a variety of Spike Lee films and backpack buttons.
