Academics

International students enrolled at CF must be degree-seeking. the College of Central Florida offers over 170 academic pathways, including two-year Associate in Science, Associate in Arts pathway and Bachelor’s degrees. Certificate programs may be taken in conjunction with an A.A., A.S., or bachelor’s degree program.

Students who earn a two-year Associate in Arts degree at the College of Central Florida are guaranteed general admission into one of Florida’s 12 public universities.

ESL for Academic Purposes

Students with TOEFL 61+ and IELTS 5.5+ are accepted but not required for admission. Students without passing English proficiency test scores CF offers English as a Second Language for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses. Students meeting placement test cut-off score may be exempt from taking ESL/EAP.

Student Life

CF is located in the safe and sunny community of Ocala, Florida. We are within driving distance to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center and world-class beaches. Our students enjoy a tropical climate with hot and humid summers and mildly chilly winters. Students can travel around campus and the surrounding area by walking or riding a bicycle. On our 150-acre Ocala Campus, international students from 40 countries have access to state-of-the-art campus facilities and top-notch degree programs.

Housing is available at the College Square Apartments located adjacent to the Ocala Campus offers private, fully furnished rooms with shared facilities, along with a game room, swimming pool and computer lab. Campus and housing facilities are in a safe location near shopping malls, banks and movie theatres.
