Earn Your Commercial Driver’s License
CF Corporate College has partnered with FleetForce to provide training for anyone seeking a Commercial Driver’s License.
This hands-on training program will prepare you with the knowledge and skills you need to start your driving career in just four weeks. Enroll at any time, with new classes starting frequently.
Class A Program:
The Class A program consists of 160 hours of training with a day schedule, Monday through Friday 7 a.m.-4 p.m. for 4 weeks. After the four weeks, students test for CDL licensure on that Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon. A Class A commercial driver’s license is required to operate any combination of vehicles with a gross combination weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 lbs. or more, to include a towed vehicle that is heavier than 10,000 lbs., for example, this is your tractor trailer 18 wheelers.
Class B Program:
The Class B program consists of 40 hours over 1 week of training, also with a day schedule and testing that Saturday. A Class B commercial driver’s license is required to operate a single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 lbs or heavier, such as garbage truck, dump truck, etc. No Trailer, to include a towed vehicle that is lighter than 10,000 lbs.
These CDL courses meet State and Federal curriculum requirements and includes two attempts at the Commercial Driver’s License Test.
Class Requirements:
- Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license in order to be considered.
- Applicants must have an acceptable motor vehicle report (driving record.)
- Must be able to pass the Department of Transportation physical and drug screening.
