Lean Six Sigma certification is all about learning how to apply techniques to improve processes and solve problems. CF’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt College Credit Certificate program is designed to provide students with considerable experience in manufacturing with the knowledge and skills to become a quality control technician. It is also designed for individuals who already have a degree in engineering technology and who wish to train for a career in quality control.

What is a Green Belt?

Greem Belt is the third level of Six Sigma certification, above White and Yellow Belts. The White Belt Certification provides a basic methodology overview, and Yellow Belt Certification covers basic training in quality improvement methodology. “ The Six Sigma Green Belt, under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and has to complete a project on Six Sigma. They learn the problem solving framework (DMAIC) Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control for improving processes.

The largest Six Sigma accreditation provider in the world, the Council for Six Sigma Certification serves as an Official Industry Standard of Six Sigma Accreditation.
