About

The goal of the CF Agribusiness Management program is to provide you with the scientific, business and economic foundations to be successful in agriculture and related enterprises. Students receive both classroom knowledge and hands-on experience at our educational agriculture production facility at CF’s Vintage Farm campus. You will manage agricultural commodities and businesses that are happening right outside the classroom door.

Students will learn applied agriscience principles in a perpetual lab setting while exploring interest areas in plant science and/or animal science. Students may earn certificates while pursuing this degree and upon successful completion, the option to continue into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management, Agribusiness specialization program.

Graduates of the program will be able to:

  • Troubleshoot and identify common agricultural production problems
  • Collect and input data in applications such as Excel, Quickbooks and specialized agricultural software
  • Determine application timing and rates of agricultural inputs.
  • Manage technology to achieve maximum production while minimizing inputs and labor
  • Develop timely production schedules for a wide array of agricultural commodities
  • Operate under current Federal and State agricultural regulations
  • Develop and manage efficient labor and workflow models
  • Enroll in CF Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Management, Agribusiness Management program
