Considering an Associate in Arts? An A.A. is a two-year degree for students planning to transfer to a four-year institution or entering a bachelor’s program at CF.

As an A.A. student, you will complete general education requirements including courses in English, humanities, social sciences, mathematics and natural sciences. By starting with an A.A. degree at the College of Central Florida, students can save thousands of dollars on tuition and fees. CF is about half the cost of a four-year university and ranks in the top 1 percent of colleges for affordability across the U.S.

Your Path to Success at CF

One of the first things you’ll do as an A.A. student at CF is select your academic pathway, which will help you decide which classes to take each semester. CF offers more than 170 pathways covering everything from public relations to environmental studies. Your academic advisor will help you select the pathway that makes sense for your career goals and passions.

Continue With a Bachelor’s Degree

When you complete your Associate in Arts degree, you can continue your education with a four-year program right here at CF. Our bachelor’s programs in Business and Organizational Management, Education and Nursing will prepare you for a high-demand career at your convenience.

Transfer to a University

With an Associate in Arts degree, you’ll have guaranteed admission to a State University System institution in Florida. We also have university partnerships with University of Central Florida, Florida Agricultural &Mechanical University and University of South Florida through programs that give you even more perks while you’re working on your A.A. degree here.

A.A. Pathways

CF offers a wide variety of Academic Pathways for the Associate in Arts degree, ranging from environmental studies to history to nursing and beyond. These academic pathways are suggested course work by semester, but students should discuss the best schedule and courses for their specific needs.
