The College of Central Florida’s Business and Technology Department will host four free virtual career connection webinars featuring local companies using new technologies in unexpected ways Monday-Thursday, April 5-8.
- Monday, April 5, from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Associate Director and Senior Research Scientist Bonnie Dorr from the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition on how artificial intelligence will affect the future.
- Tuesday, April 6, from 11:15 a.m.-noon, presenters from The Villages Grown will talk about technology applications in a hyper-local food system that benefits local residents, the environment, and the economy as well as careers in agriculture.
- Wednesday, April 7, from 2:15-3 p.m., Paul Porter, Human Resources manager from Dollar Tree Distribution Center, will present about technology applications and careers in logistics and supply chain management.
- Thursday, April 8, from 12:15-1 p.m., Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel Julie Sheppard from the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition will present practical steps to prepare for a future career in technology.
