This program is designed for students seeking specialized training to prepare for employment or to enhance their skills in the fields of management, business, industry and retail. The program instructs students in the areas of planning, organizing, directing and controlling a business. Selected theories of business operations and decision making are emphasized. Students will obtain the knowledge, skills and understanding for effective management functions.
The 18-credit hour College Credit Certificate in Business Operations can be completed in under a year and provides students with a solid foundation of knowledge and applicable skills in both Business and Management.
The courses in this certificate program are also part of the Business Administration – Associate in Science. After receiving their certificate, students are encouraged to continue their education by completing the courses in the Associate in Science degree.
