The Livestock Production Management program is designed for students who wish to become proficient with hands-on skills in general livestock knowledge, including forage, animal physiology and behavior in agricultural production animals. Students will be introduced to best management practices, as outlined by industry, along with land and range management, herd well-being and current livestock industry business practices. The certificate will prepare students to enter the higher skilled and higher wage level work force in the animal industry.
