Academic Advising
The mission of Academic Advising at CF is to provide comprehensive, individualized and group services for students that support academic achievement, retention, graduation, university transfer, employment, and personal success.
The Educational Advisors in Enrollment Services on the Ocala campus are available for assistance to A.A. degree-seeking students. A.S. and Certificate seeking students should make an appointment with the Educational Advisor assigned to their major. Counselors/Advisors are also available on the Citrus Campus and Levy Center and in CF’s TRIO Programs for those who qualify. Click here to see a list of all CF Advisors.
A.A. degree majors can see their associate degree requirements along with their university pre-professional requirements by degree by clicking on the following link: A.A. Advising Sheets. A.S. degree, credit certificate and vocational program requirements can be found at http://www.cf.edu/programs/index.htm.
CF offers a 24-hour online advising service (peak times may take a little longer for a response) for prospective or current students who may have a quick question or concern that would not require an in-person appointment. Email requests sent over the weUSAekend will be responded to on the following Monday. Full academic plans, degree audits and graduation checks can not be provided through this service. Just click on this Eadvise link to email your question to an advisor.
