Levy Center Family Literacy Program
We know that…
Parents are a child’s first teacher!
The Family Literacy program at CFCC is grant-funded and provides adult education services to parents or guardians who have children under 18 in their homes. Family literacy programs recognize that parents/guardians are the first teachers of their children and present programs and skills to help parents be the best possible teachers for their children. We provide workshops on such topics as:
- Reading With Your Children
- Effective Parent Teacher Conferences
- Keep Your Children’s Internet Surfing Safe
- Kids and Money
- Financial and Health Issues
