The Charles R. Dassance Fine Arts Center has served the college and community since 1967. Named in honor of Dr. Charles R. Dassance, president emeritus, for his contribution to the cultural landscape of the college and community, it is a medium-sized facility for full-stage productions of theater, dance and music.
The Dassance Fine Arts Center enjoyed an extensive renovation completed in 2007. This included the creation of a new sound engineer booth, new auditorium seating, set construction shop, extensive lobby renovations, new lobby restrooms, and replacement of the house lighting system and digital sound system. The Black Box Theatre serves as rehearsal space as well as performances by CF Theatre for Young Audiences.
Handicap-accessible seating and companion seats are available, along with a limited number of hearing-assist devices.
