“The name Fulbright adds a stamp of approval to your scholarly interests and your drive for excellence.”
What was the focus of your Fulbright work?
Miniature Greek Pottery. Through my
Fulbright I gained access to the most
important library in my field at the American
School of Classical Studies in
Athens, Greece.
Did your Fulbright experience meet your expectations?
It went way beyond my expectations.
How has your Fulbright experience changed the way you teach/work?
I am able to bring to life the lessons from the texts
because I have experienced the people and places
that I teach about. I can tell stories that help my
students remember, and my excitement and
enthusiasm are infectious. |
